Review: Corazonas Salsa Picante Tortilla Chips

When WellFed owner Cate O’Malley offered me a sample of some Corazonas tortilla chips, I jumped at the chance to review them. They sent the chips to us for a review before I became Editor of FitFare.

So far I have tried the Salsa Picante flavor, which I really enjoyed. After receiving them at the height of illness the other day, I decided to wait to try them, and today turned out to be that day.

I’d been up since 5 a.m. so I felt like it was okay to have a pre-lunch snack . . . so I busted open the aforementioned Salsa Picante Corazonas. Honestly, I was expecting cardboard, but they are actually surprisingly good - a very pleasant and robust flavor, and while a little thicker and less crunchy than Doritos, very similar.

These make a good snack - definitely worth a try.

[…] I loved the Corazonas Salsa Picante Tortilla Chips when I tried them. So when I received a second package from Well Fed owner Cate O’Malley, I was psyched to see that they were Jalapeno Jack flavored. I love hot and spicy things so I figured if these were anywhere close to the high standard that the Salsa Picante flavor had set then I would be in for a sure-fire treat. […]
