Fall Feast-ival: Round-up #2
For FitFare’s first ever blogging event, Fall Feast-ival, I am pleased to say we had several fantastic entries. Special thanks to everyone who took part! The whole point of Fall Feast-ival was to challenge bloggers to use seasonal produce to create delicious and healthy dishes. The entries included snacks, main courses, soups and desserts. There were a lot of apples, along with a few figs and some squash.

Now onto Round-up #2!
From Stacey at Just Braise, we have a quartet of deliciousness. First there is her applesauce. Super easy to make and it looks just awesome . . . the perfect consistency of chunky and smooth.
Then we have her very imaginative apple grilled cheese with bacon . . . mmmm. That one sounds rather good.
There is also braised pork chops with apples . . . with a blog name like Just Braise, we should have known she’d braise at least a bit.
Finally, these tantalizing apple chips round out her yummy contributions.
Faith at Blog Appetite contributed this special dish to the round-up, a fig-pistachio tart with honey glaze. She’s been lucky enough to receive some samples that included pistachio nut paste and rich tart that isn’t too sweet. Very special, albeit unusual.
