Tips To Avoid Holiday Weight Gain: Tip #2

The holiday season is full of diet pitfalls. Everywhere you look there are cookies, pies and other temptations, so staying aware of the number of calories you’re consuming during this time is crucial. With the plethora of treats being offered to us, it’s easy to rationalize eating a few goodies here and there, ignoring their impact on the calorie count for the day.

Tip #2: Start A Food Journal

Determine the target level of calories that you want to consume each day. If you don’t know your ideal calorie level, there are various Internet sites that can help you.
