Diary of a Loser: A much better week
Here’s the scorecard for this week:
- Days where I have resisted extra snacks and sweets: everyday
- Healthy lunches taken to work: 2 out of 3 days
- Healthy dinners I made: 5 (not including tonight)
- Days I have worked out: 1 day with a lot of walking
So I guess this means I improved a bit. The better news is that my weight reflected my efforts. I am slightly down from last week (about a half pound). I have drank oodles and oodles of glasses of delicious ice water at work too. Ice really does make all the difference for me. The colder, the better.
I am into the swing of cooking regularly and taking lunches has felt better than buying (the cafeteria is good, but not as good as my cooking). And the cost savings is always, always a welcome benefit.
I want to say a special thank you to everyone who offered support last week. I am definitely feeling a bit more positive this week. And although I won’t be shedding crazy amounts of weight before my business trip, I will have shed enough to make my clothes a bit less snug. And that’s an improvement, nonetheless.
This week? More exercise. More homecooked lunches and dinner. And better breakfasts.
