It is always great to get some good tips. I think cutting soda is a great place to start. But try to skip the fake sweeteners in all those diet sodas, as lots of recent research finds correlation between diet sodas and overall weight gain. Early on in my gradual transformation of my eating style, I found myself increasingly drinking water or unsweetened teas. When I want something more flavored I combine water and fruit juice 1:1.
