Strawberries for Blemish-Free Skin?

If you listen to an aesthetician at Splash Spa in New York City, strawberries are the way to go.  In a recent issue of Family Circle magazine, Christine Bibbo Herr, Senior Fashion Editor, shared this tip that she got from the NYC aesthetician:
“(She) told me the easiest skin treatment ever.  Slice a fresh strawberry in […]

Caramelized Broccoli with Garlic

Do you think a broccoli recipe can be considered OMG-worthy?  At first, I’d say no.  I mean, broccoli?  Really?  But after this recipe, I just may have to rethink that answer.  I love roasted broccoli.  I love broccoli cranberry salad.  I love broccoli with maple syrup.  But now I have a new way to love […]

How to Live a Longer Life

Fifty years ago, the life expectancy for men and women was drastically different than it is today.  We know more, we do more, quite simply.  Women born in 1900 were expected to only live to approximately 48 years old.  Men?  46.  These days, our life expectancy numbers are much more positive, with women living until […]

On a recent (March 3rd) episode of Biggest Loser, he showed the contestants how to eat right, and […]

Review: Weight Watchers English Muffin Sandwich

Recently I had the chance to try Weight Watchers English Muffin Sandwich. This one clocks in at 4 Weight Watchers points and 210 calories, but what about the taste?
The GOOD: The egg whites were not watery, but firm like they should be. The bread remained fairly soft, which is sometimes a challenge when heating up […]
